Soft Booking is Homelike’s newest booking method and provides the tenant with a faster and much more efficient way of booking an apartment. Furthermore, the quicker process also reduces the risk of having a double booking.
The tenants who choose the soft booking option on Homelike’s booking page will have a confirmed booking once the landlord accepts the request.
How does it work?
Soft booking mode is available to the tenant as an additional booking option for the properties that are in the normal request mode process. Therefore, tenants have the freedom to decide which booking mode they prefer to use.
When the tenant wishes to book your property with the “Soft Booking mode”, Homelike collects all the required information from them that’s needed to finalize the booking upfront. Such as:
- Payment details
- Billing address
- General tenant information
Once the landlord approves the request, the booking is final and binding. Every soft booking request you approve becomes a confirmed booking.
This results in a guaranteed tenant for the requested period without having to provide a waiting time of 48h for the tenant to finalize the booking, which is the case in the normal booking process.
