Need to move out of your apartment earlier than planned? 

To terminate a booking:

  1. Check the termination policy that applies to your booking
  2. Contact the supplier to let them know that you're terminating your contract
  3. You can find the termination policy and landlord contact details in your Homelike Dashboard or in the rental agreement or T&C that you signed before booking completion

Homelike termination policies

Each listing's termination policy can be viewed in the Policies section of the apartment profile page and in your Homelike dashboard.

  • 14 days: It is possible to terminate the contract during your stay with a 14-day notice period, once the minimum rental period has expired.
  • 30 days: It is possible to terminate the contract during your stay with a 30-day notice period, once the minimum rental period has expired.
  • National regulations apply: country-specific regulations apply to terminating your contract. If in doubt about the national regulations in your country, your landlord can provide you with further information.
  • One month to the end of the month: It is possible to terminate your contract with a notice period of one month, effective at the end of the month, once the minimum rental period has expired. Example:
    • Booking period 01 May - 31 December
    • Booking terminated on 13 August
    • Termination effective as of 30 September
  • Two months to the end of the month: It is possible to terminate your contract with a notice period of two months, effective at the end of the month, once the minimum rental period has expired. Example:
    • Booking period 01 May - 31 December
    • Booking terminated on 13 August
    • Termination effective as of 31 October
  • No termination: It is not possible to terminate your contract

Please note that if your contract has a minimum rental period, this must be respected when terminating your booking. 

 

Supplier-specific termination policies

Some suppliers may have individual termination policies that apply to their properties. 

This information can be found in the supplier's rental agreement or T&C, which tenants view and sign before booking completion. Please make sure to check this information before terminating your booking.

 

Rental agreement type

There are various types of rental contracts, each with its own rules regarding termination. These regulations can vary significantly between countries. Therefore, it's best to consult your landlord for information specific to your location.
